HP IMC : Filtering Interface UP/DOWN Alert- Method 1
Method 1
1) Create a Port Group for which you dont want UP/DOWN Alert
2) Once the Port Group is created, Go to Resource-> Batch Operation and select Interface Up/Down Alarm Filter option

3) Add Individual ports or Port Group and select Filter option and then click OK.

4) Verify Interface is filter for alert.

To Filter Interface Up/Down alert generating from Traps:
1) Go to Alarm-> Trap Management-> Filtering Trap
2) Add new Filter Rule, and select unmanage port group which you have created earlier. click ok
